The 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards took place on April 14, 2024. The red carpet ceremony was held at 4:30 PM at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui, followed by the awards ceremony at 7:30 PM at the Grand Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
