Implementing an environmentally sustainable culture is management’s responsibility as well as the responsibility of every King’s Limousine employee. This policy addresses all aspects of King’s operations that can potentially impact the environment.
This Environmental Policy Statement, which updates the Environmental Policy Statement first implemented in 2012, reflects King’s Limousine Company Limited on-going commitment to the environment and highlights the ways that our business decisions and policies address the opportunities and challenges raised by today's most significant environmental matters. As a company, King’s Limousine is specifically committed to the following objectives :
ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION AND REGULATION
Conduct its operations in accordance with applicable environmental protection laws, regulations and standards and provide a mechanism for self-monitoring according to local laws to ensure compliance and continual improvement.
Complying with all legal requirements within our business operations and service provision.
OPERATIONS AND BUSINESS PRACTICES
Conducting our operations in a manner that strives to protect the environment, and the health and safety of our employees, neighbors and customers, and striving to exceed their quality expectations.
Establish specific corporate targets and objectives as a way to lessen our environmental impact by reaching these targets and objectives. These targets and objectives shall be reviewed and revised as necessary on an annual basis.
Measuring, monitoring and reducing the carbon and environmental impacts of our fleet.
Operate our facilities and conduct our business in an energy efficient and environmentally responsible manner.
Reduce our waste through recycling and dispose of all waste using safe and responsible methods.
Ensure that the King’s Limousine Company Limited Board of Directors is aware of the company’s material environmental issues and our plan to resolve them as it relates to our EPP.
Continually identifying and monitoring environmental issues that may arise from our businesses and services and resolving these promptly and effectively.
COMMUNITY AND EMPLOYEES
Promote employee awareness to all King’s Limousine employees of environmental issues and provide education on what individual actions can be taken at their level to reduce their impact of the environment.
Fostering a culture of actively caring for all human life, while striving to eliminate unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Fostering an environmental awareness amongst our employees and making them an integral part of the organization's sustainability initiatives.
In accordance with the above, King’s Limousine has been developing several programs and conducting our business to conform to the company’s EPP. The following has already been implemented and many more are in process to be introduced to King’s Staff :
Purchase of several fuel-efficient hybrid vehicles in order to immediately increase our high usage vehicles.
Urging all King’s Limousine employees and those working on our behalf to help the company identify possible environmental, health & safety, and quality issues in order to continually improve the effectiveness of our management systems.
Undertaking regular evaluations of our sustainability initiatives and reporting publicly on our progress in reducing our footprint.
Require all office staff to reduce paper use and propose a paperless office policy.
All vehicle maintenance contractors are required to enter into a liability contract to ensure that they comply with the Hong Kong regulations on vehicle repair waste recycling.
In accordance with our Management System requirements, we periodically review King’s Limousine Company Limited environmental and quality performance, objectives and targets to assess our progress.
The policy statement will be made available to the public and communicated to all persons working for, or on behalf of, King’s Limousine Company Limited.
